Overview

Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James) is a journey that has been undertaken by pilgrims since the ninth century. It is a route culturally and religiously rich that it should be included in every bike rider’s wish list.

It is an 800 kilometers (497 miles) route that crosses diverse Spanish regions. You will be able to find cultural contrasts in people’s traditions, customs and gastronomy. However, this trip only goes to the city of Burgos, within the Castile region, crossing the regions of Navarra and La rioja that are famous for their excellent wines.

Going along the “yellow arrow”, you will discover rich historical places like 10th century churches and breathtaking landscapes. You will also have the chance to enjoy the tasty and diverse gastronomy accompanied by world-wide famous wines of the regions. Definitely, this is a worthwhile guided bike tour.
