Gran Fondo Madrid Sierra Norte

If you visit Madrid you´ll see from any high point of the city the peaks of Sierra de Guadarrama. Among these mountains is held every year the Gran Fondo Rotor Sierra Norte, the most remarkable one-day cycling event of Madrid Region. It is limited to 1.500 participants and it features three distances from 40 to 166 Km. The route travels through the striking landscape of National Park of Sierra de Guadarrama and boasts a brilliant organization. The rides depart and end in Buitrago, a historic town surrounded by Arab walls and the River Lozoya, and takes in six climbs, which means that you should be ready for a continuous up and down itinerary.
